The Badgerball World Cup Final

A drama to illustrate that:

“‘Everything is permissible’–but not everything is beneficial. ‘Everything is permissible’–but not everything is constructive. Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others.” 1 Corinthians 10 23-24

Two commentators preside over the Women’s Under 12 Badgerball World Cup Final 1987 between the Democratic Peoples Republic of Congo and the United States of Southampton. The game requires teamwork, but one player decides to take all the glory for herself – the result is that her team loses the match. The commentators show how this is connected to the idea of everything being permissible, but not everything is beneficial.

What's On Crossring

Crossring is a community of Christians who meet together online in fellowship around the Christian faith and the Bible.

As part of our active lifestyle of prayer and Bible reading, we are currently reading a small section of the Bible together each day and sharing our responses to it with each other. We also publish a short devotional thought on a key verse or two from each day's passage to prompt prayer or reflection.
