Simon is Head of History in a boarding school in Sussex. He enjoys sailing, and is an accomplished novelist. He grew up in a Christian family, and was prompted to make a personal commitment whilst at school. He founded Crossring in 2000, and since its relaunch in 2009 he has served as Editor-in-Chief, overseeing the website, and setting the direction of the Editorial Team.

Ali is a student in at Durham University, where he is involved in the Christian Union and holds responsibilities in College. Although he designed and maintains the Crossring website, his main responsibilities as Managing Editor are to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the site, and to assist Simon in directing the Editorial Team.
Ellie Dawkins

Ellie has always had a passion for theatre and has been using drama to spread God’s message for many years. She currently lives in the West Country with her husband, Matthew.

Martin lives in a village in deepest, darkest Sussex. He is an avid cyclist and a keen geocacher. Martin is responsible for managing discussion on the site, both within the content and in the forum.

Caroline is a Yorkshire lass who now lives in Skawina near Krakow in Poland with her husband Pawel, where she runs a language school. She is responsible for overseeing Crossring’s prayer ministry.

Andy has been a Christian since his teens when he began to develop his relationship with God. He is an Elder in his local church and leads a home group. Andy has a passion for teaching and writing. He lives near Southend, Essex, with his wife. Andy is responsible for writing much of the content on Crossring.
Matthew Dawkins

Lead Writer
Matthew has long had a strong involvement with Christian websites. He was a keen contributor to the original Crossring site, and subsequently launched his own website, Focus On Faith. Focus On Faith was incorporated into Crossring in September 2009, and Matthew took on the role of lead writer for the site. Matthew works as a web designer, and lives in the West Country with his wife, Ellie.
